Rihanna and Chris Brown Hug It Out at VMAs

Chris Brown and Rihanna reunited at the VMA's last night, but the moment wasn't broadcast on air. A behind the scenes live feed available online showed the two pop stars and former lovers engage in a candid embrace that would have been unimaginable just two years ago.
MTV's "VIP Seating Cam" captured the brief reconciliation as Rihanna was returning to her seat after accepting the Video of the Year award for her hit single "We Found Love." After spotting Brown, she approached him directly and he stood up to give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. It's the first time the two have been seen getting so intimate since their violent breakup in 2009.
Though she has said that she and Brown are not dating again, in her recent interview with Oprah, Rihanna said she still loves her ex, calling him "the love of her life." She admitted the two had been in St. Tropez together and that she gets butterflies in her stomach whenever they see each other.
Last February a restraining order against Breezy first filed after his domestic violence conviction was lifted, allowing the two to be in the same place during award shows like the VMAs. Rihanna says she and Brown have been working on their friendship ever since.
