Kim Kardashian's post-baby evolution continues. Over three months after the premature birth of daughter North West, the suddenly scarce reality star, 32, made another rare, low-key outing in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Heading into City Hall with her assistant, the first-time mom kept things supremely casual in a loose gray t-shirt, an open denim button-down and baggy grey combat pants. Deflecting flashing cameras with sunglasses, Kardashian still sporting blonde hair and wore little-to-no makeup.
Her City Hall errand? To pick up a passport for North, who will tag along with her mom and rapper dad Kanye West, 36, as he embarks on a massive tour this fall for his Yeezus album.
Those closest to Kardashian aren't surprised that she's stayed somewhat in hiding since North's birth. "She's extremely self-conscious about her current body," a pal told Us Weekly over a month ago. "It's taking a lot more work for the weight to come off now than it died for the first 20 pounds," the pal adds.
To that end, Kardashian has been working out with a trainer and "has been eating really healthy," another friend adds. One of her biggest counselors? Eldest sister and mom of two Kourtney Kardashian.
"Kourtney, of all people, understands what Kim is going through," another confidante says.
"[Kim] knows her body really well…she knows from years of dieting and taking care of her body that a crash course never works."
