KIM AND KANYE'S WEDDING EXTRAVAGANZA

Everything you need to know about the most anticipated wedding of the year.!!

As the extravagant celebration approaches, the hype surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding is reaching a fever pitch. Here's everything we know about the couple's big day—so far:
1) Kanye wants fighter jets—yes, fighter jets—to fly over the May 24 ceremony, which is reportedly taking place at the Trianon Palace Hotel in Paris.
2) You may be able to tune into the grand event yourself—the couple is in talks to have the ceremony filmed and broadcast on TV at a later date.
3) Though info about Kim's dress is still under wraps, rumor has it the couple will don crowns for the affair.
4) Kim told Ryan Seacrest that the event will be "super small and intimate" and that she's in charge of planning the guest list.
5) Instead of having stepdad Bruce Jenner walk her down the aisle, Kim will carry nine-month-old daughter North.
6) Kim and Kanye are planning a special tribute to their late parents—Kim's father Robert and Kanye's mother Donda—to take place during the ceremony.
7) In addition to the invites, which cost $1,000 each, the couple has reportedly spent $125,000 on each of the ceremony's 200 guests. The gift bags will include Bollinger champagne, Creme de la Mer skin products, spa vouchers and personalized Swarovski-encrusted ornaments.
8) French law requires one member of the marrying couple to reside in the country at least 40 days before the ceremony—this means Kim or Kanye must move to France by April 15 in order for the marriage to be legal.
With a month and a half left before the big day, we can only imagine what the couple is planning. Watch this space for up-to-the-minute updates.
Update, 4/22: James Franco told the ladies of The View that Kanye requested he perform his "Bound 2" parody, "Bound 3," during the wedding weekend: "I'm pretty sure I can say it now because I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen. He wanted us to perform it live the night before his wedding at Versailles."
Update, 4/28: Why have one wedding when you can have three? Kim and Kanye will reportedly marry in a civil ceremony in Southern California before heading to France, where they're required to have two ceremonies under French law, reports Radar Online. The French venue is rumored to be the Château de Louveciennes, a 17th-century mansion built by Louis XIV that was later the home of Louis XV's most famous mistress, Madame du Barry. Kim will also wear three different gowns on the big day. “It will be over the top. Kim and Kanye want it to be the wedding of the century," a source told Radar.
